Among weddings I particularly like those like this one where rather than a beginning the ceremony is a milestone in the life of a family already blessed with children.
We began in the apartment where the bride was getting ready with the help of the excellent make up artist Stefania Bon. The husband was in an apartment around the corner so it has been possible to cover both stories with ease.
Once ready there was the first very intense moment of the day, the first look of the bride, and the anticipation of it across the corner mentioned before.
Then a walk to Palazzo Cavalli, that is the location the city hall used for celebrating civil weddings in Venice.
The marriage went on according to plan and here the emotions of the daughter added to the ones of the couple.
An idea that I found particularly good was the one to reserve some water taxis for the family and the guests so that they could admire Venice from water on the way to the restaurant.
