Something I particularly liked photographing this surprise wedding proposal is that the day Sanjeev chose for it was already a special day for his girfriend Kiran as it was her birtday.

So it has been possible to arrange a make up and a photography session without her suspecting (too much) that he was going to propose.

Ilaria, the make up artist was in the hotel when I reached them, then we went for a walk and a glass of wine in Venice and I was able to guide them towards a place that would have been relatively quiet and with a nice view (Punta della Dogana).

There I pretented to leave them alone and the proposal took place, a short photographic walk and they were ready to enjoy their evening as just engaged couple
